DUNGEON: Dark Cathedral Empty DUNGEON: Dark Cathedral

Post by Voriel Wed May 02, 2012 7:06 am

Deep in the sands of Val Aureum, down the lost paths of Aurum Road lies a Cathedral. It seems so very strange to have a structure as this in the baked sands, especially one that has weathered the tests of elements as it has. But what lies within it is a beating heart fallen into darkness.

Whispers do not come from this place. Nothing is said beyond the concerns and fears of expeditions. That is until Elleon and Jelena stumbled upon hidden truths...of a traitor. They have sought the answers to a mystery that threatens the heart of the Federation leadership.

And that journey has cost them nearly their lives.

Now Jelena is lost in this Dark Cathedral. It's time to save her and learn what she has found...

Of course, none of this meant a damn thing when the brothers turned to each other with a similar gleam to their eyes. They had been approached by some Federation men, with serious looks and concerns of lost men in the desert. They were carrying a fair share of goods, equipment, and information. Every piece worth a weight in gold.

Securing travel was hard enough, but now this crop haired severely sunburnt officer wanted someone...anyone...not only to secure the lines but find the lost men.

"Let's take this a step further, sir. We could of course find your men and return their cargo. But who does that really help?" One brother then another took turns, following cues.

"So right. I mean, then what? You have all these crates piled high in the sand and heat, and rotting corpses in tow with them? Maybe there's another way to do this."

The officer could only frown deeper feeling his pockets being picked without a finger laid on him. "Such as?"

    "Let us...take over the contract."

    DUNGEON RUN SEEKS PLAYERS!
Level 35+ instance deep in Val Aureum - Aurum Road.
Quest lines for Samael's Apparition, a continuing series from the work in Phantom Menace (Cutthroat Island Labyrinth and the Tenebrous Mines).
Possible night to run it: Wed May 2nd or later in the week

Lots of folks have been working on these quests. And I know many would love to go!

Who all is available for some good ol' dungeon crawling. With some rp and story perhaps mixed in?

The Onyx Rose Company in some ways picked up a contract left behind when a previous mercenary company mysteriously vanished, ie died, in the dunes. Arawn, Verael, Alektos, and many others have been working on this out there in the desert. As well as others seeking the tales and storylines in Ostgarath such as Malani, Baeshra, and Kolaan.

What times work for folks? Who would like to seek the dark places?

Reply if interested! And continue with some story if you like!

I would be terribly interested to do an IC dungeon crawl with you guys. I think Kolaan and I just got into level for it, but we haven't acquired the quests yet.

In character adventuring would be awesome! Folks should get together! My times will be terrible until the new contract comes through.

Would be up for it. Will cry a little that I have to still run with crummy graphics.

Antonius is always ready to do some tomb raiding for rare and valuable treasures. I'll probably be more than prepared to run this place by the weekend.

And there are others like Secret Base (20) and the Manor (25-30)! Will happily write stuff around it, or others can if they have idears! RAWR!

Wish I could tag along, but alas I'm 9 levels away and unlikely to make the min requirements. I hope things turn out well for though Very Happy

There was a lot of hype about doing stuff and things over the weekend ... I must have missed both the stuff and the things. That's how it goes.

Ah nope, this post was from may 2nd, and no one was interested. XD So it never happened.

Saturday helped Verael level and then chilled waiting to see who about and rped and stuff on sunday.

Actually have a thought...will post something

I know I missed the original date for this, and that it never happened. So I indicated interest on the 10th, because that's when I was of level. And lots of people responded here with variations of 'woo dungeon' and 'woo weekend' and 'glad to help'.

So when the weekend came around, I expected better reception, and felt kind of ignored when folks declined or indicated they'd rather be doing something else. Sad

Just throwing this up on the record, if I am online I'll be more than happy to help anyone with anything. Last weekend was a bit dodgy for me since I was visiting my old folks and their internet completely blew up on Saturday. I'm back at my apt now though, so if you see me on and need some slaying and/or business work done, don't hesitate to hit me up.

Ahh sorry Bae. Sad Wasn't tryin to ignore. Was doing lots of stuff takin me afk or just literally chatting and brainious deadous. I honestly do apoligize for that. Would have run it rply later when we went back! And will try and be more about and helps.

Also don't mind me if I seem persnickity. Work is reaally bad right now. So trying not to let it spill over. 10 hours of phone support for d3...would make anyone turn into jello.
