He then led him down to the family vault, and displayed the great shining treasures within, explaining that this was power, and only few could wield it.
Background/History:
Antonius is a young and hot-blooded human male. The only son and heir of one of the wealthiest banking families in Velika, managing money and brokering deals are his life. In addition to his knowledge of finance and accounting, his father occasionally tutored him in the ways of the sword from an early age. Starting off initially as a hobby, Antonius found he had quite a knack for swordplay, and often engaged in friendly duels for gold or other wagers. He’s known to occasionally hire himself out as a sell-sword for some quick coin if the opportunity arises.
His family tradition states that in order to actually be entitled to the family fortune, one must amass great wealth of their own in order to prove themselves. As his father has recently passed away, Antonius has now set out to prove himself worthy of his family name in order to claim his birthright. Life is a game to Antonius, and the winner is the one who dies with the biggest bank account.
